One of the longest running shows in Off-Broadway history, Altar Boyz will take its final bow on January 10th, 2010, but not before reaching its 2,000th show on Sunday, December 13th. Winner of the 2005 Outer Critics Circle award for Best Musical, the Boyz have been a real hit in NY and all over the world with numerous traveling companies throughout the States, and productions worldwide such as Korea, Canada, and Finland to name a few. The Altar Boyz phenomena will continue to spread its message of brotherhood through its recent explosion in the regional market and has certainly left its mark in the Broadway world for years to come.

The closing cast will feature Mauricio Pérez as Juan, Michael Kadin Craig as Matthew, Travis Nesbitt as Mark, Lee Markham as Luke, and Ravi Roth as Abraham, with wonderstudies Mitch Dean and Tommaso Antico.

Mauricio joined the Off-Broadway company of Altar Boyz in May of 2008. He is very grateful for having worked with such a fantastic company of actors, stage management, musicians, technicians, creatives, and producers, and congratulates the entire team on such a successful and beautiful run!
